The petitioner has filed this writ petition seeking following reliefs:- “10.1 That, this Hon'ble Court may kindly be pleased to call for the entire record pertaining to the case of petitioner for its kind perusal. 2 10.2 That, this Hon'ble Court may kindly be pleased to issue an appropriate writ/order/direction, commanding the Respondents to forthwith sanction and release the medical reimbursement amount of Rs. 68,752/- incurred towards the medical treatment of the petitioner’s wife, within a stipulated time frame as may be fixed by this Hon’ble Court. 10.3 That, this Hon'ble Court may kindly be pleased to direct the respondents to pay interest on the aforesaid amount from the date of submission of the original medical reimbursement claim till the date of actual payment, in the interest of justice. 10.4 That, any other relief/order which may deem fit and just in the facts and circumstances of the case including the costs of the petition.” 2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner had submitted an application dated 02.12.2024 for medical reimbursement against the treatment of his wife, however, till date, claim of petitioner has not been settled and the amount expended towards the medical expenses has not been reimbursed and therefore, at this stage, petitioner is making a prayer for issuance of direction to the respondent authorities to consider and take decision on the claim of petitioner and reimburse the medical expenses incurred against the treatment of his wife. 3. On the other hand, learned counsel for the Respondents would submit that as petitioner is not pressing this writ petition on merits and is only seeking a direction to the respondents to consider the application towards the claim for medical reimbursement, they are having no objection to the limited prayer. 4. I have heard learned counsel for the parties and perused the documents placed on record. 5. On due consideration of the submission of counsel for the respective parties, facts and circumstances of the case, nature of grievance raised by the petitioner, without entering into the merits of the claim of petitioner, this writ petition at this stage is disposed of directing the concerned respondents to consider and take decision on the application dated 3 02.12.2024 for reimbursement of the medical expenses in accordance with law, expeditiously, preferably within a period of 45 days from the date of receipt of order. 6. 6.
