When the matter is taken up for hearing it is submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that the matter was referred before the Lok Adalat and the facts were recorded. In view of the same, the case is closed as ‘Further Action Dropped’. 3. The order passed by the learned Metropolitan Magistrate, CCB & CBCID Court, Egmore, Chennai during the Lok Adalat dated 13.09.2025 is produced before this Court. 4. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner wanted to re-open the case as the said liberty has already been granted in the order of the Lok Adalat. 5. Heard the learned counsel appearing on either side and perused the material records of the case. 6. It is seen that the investigation was long pending in Crime No.105 of 2015. Under the said circumstance, all along pending FIRs were referred to the Lok Adalat and by an order dated 13.09.2025 it was ordered to be closed with liberty to the respondent - police to reopen wherever the issue warrants. In this case the defacto complainant is the aggrieved person. When such is the allegation, the investigation should be taken to its logical end. The interest of justice requires that this matter be continued further. 7. In view thereof, the respondent -Police is directed to continue the investigation in Crime No. 105 of 2015 and conclude the investigation within a period of six months from the date of receipt of the web copy of the order and file the Final Report in accordance with law. 8.
