Today, both the appellant and the respondent appeared before this Court and they were identified by their respective learned counsel. They filed a joint memorandum of compromise dated 20.07.2026, wherein, it has been stated that the respondent will withdraw the allegations of impotency against the appellant and she has received a sum of Rs.9,00,000/- as permanent alimony from the appellant and she will not claim any alimony ordered by the Tribunal, since she had received the aforesaid amount in full quit. Recording the joint memorandum of compromise dated 20.07.2026, this civil miscellaneous appeal stands disposed of.
