For Petitioner(s): Mr.K.Premkumar For Respondent(s): Mr.K.Babu ORDER This transfer application has been filed to withdraw the proceedings in HMOP.No.117 of 2025 on the file of the Family Court, Villupuram and transfer the same to the file of the Family Court, Chennai. 2.Heard the learned counsel for the parties. https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis __________ Page2 of 4 3.The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner has expressed inconvenience to travel from Chennai, where she resides to attend the proceedings before the Family Court at Villupuram. 4.The learned counsel for the respondent, despite having filed a detailed counter opposing the transfer request, would fairly submit that if the proceedings are expediated before the Family Court at Chennai, the respondent may not have any serious objection for the transfer request of the wife being acceded to. 5.In the light of the fair concession shown by the respondent and also on going through the affidavit filed in support of the transfer application, I am inclined to allow the transfer application. 6.In fine, the Transfer Miscellaneous Petition is ordered and the proceedings in HMOP.No.117 of 2025 is hereby withdrawn from the file of the Family Court, Villupuram and transferred to the file of the Principal Family Court, Chennai, to be taken up either by the Principal Family Court or allotted any of the Additional Family Courts at Chennai, subject to the pendency of cases and workload of the respective Additional Judges of the Family Courts, including the Principal Family Court. The Family Court to which the proceedings are allotted/assigned by the Principal Family Court shall expedite https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis __________ Page3 of 4 disposal of the proceedings. There shall be no order as to costs.
