ORDER The present Writ Petition has been filed seeking the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the 1st respondent to consider the petitioner’s representation dated 10.06.2026.
2. The case of the petitioner is that a representation dated 10.06.2026 was submitted requesting the 1st respondent to remove the lock in software instrument in the Sub-Registrar Office, Thirukkanur, Pondicherry, to enable the petitioner to deal his properties. Since the said representation has not been considered till date, the petitioner has approached this Court challenging the inaction on the part of the first respondent.
3. The learned Additional Government Pleader (Puducherry) submitted that the representation of the petitioner dated 10.06.2026 would be considered by the 2nd respondent, who is the competent authority, and appropriate orders would be passed thereon. __________ Page2 of 4 https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis

4. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and the
submissions made on either side, this Court, without going into the merits of the matter, directs the second respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 10.06.2026. The second respondent, after issuing due notice to the petitioner and affording him an opportunity for a personal hearing, shall pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law. The entire exercise shall be completed within a period of two (2) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
5. With the above directions, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs. 16-07-2026 Asi To
