For Petitioner(s): MR.R.RAJARAJAN For Respondent(s): MR.R.RAJASEKARAN COUNSEL FOR GOVERNMENT OF TAMIL NADU (CRIMINAL SIDE) ORDER The prayer made in this case is to transfer the investigation in Crime No.100 of 2026 pending on the file of the 4th respondent to the file of the 5th respondent and pass further or other orders. 2. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the case is one of murder and there are CCTV footages which are available were not properly collected and the investigation is also not proceeding in a proper manner. 3. The learned counsel for Government of Tamilnadu (Criminal Side) would submit that the investigation has proceeded in an advanced stage and for want of the Motor Vehicle Analysis report, the final report is not yet been filed. The CCTV footage mentioned in the petition will also be collected and will form part of the final report along with a certificate that is required under Section 63 of Bharatiya Sakshya Adhiniyam, 2023. https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis

4. In view thereof, recording the same and directing the 4th respondent - Police to complete the investigation in a fair and complete manner and file final report within a period of three months from the date of receipt of the web copy of the order and directing the jurisdictional Deputy Superintendent of Police to closely monitor the investigation. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
