JUSTICE YARENJUNGLA LONGKUMER ORDER Date : 30-04-2026 The instant application has been filed by the appellant/applicant praying for amendment of the cause title in the I.A(Civil) 2199/2019 as well as the MACApp.7671/2019. Heard the learned counsel for the applicant Mr. S. Ahmed. It is submitted that the applicant has filed the MACApp.7671/2019 challenging the impugned judgment and award dated 02.11.2018 along with I.A(Civil) 2199/2019 praying for condonation of delay which is pending before this Court. It is stated that at the time of filing the MAC Appeal and the connected I.A(Civil) 2199/2019, the applicant did not implead the OP Nos. 1 and 2 i.e the Driver and the owner of the offending vehicle in MACApp.7671/2019 inadverttently though they are necessary party. The learned cousnel therefore prays that they may be allowed to amend the cause title and insert the driver and the registered owner of the offending vehicle as respondent Nos. 2 and 3 in the MACApp.7671/2019 as well as in the connected I.A(Civil) 2199/2019. This Court has considered the prayer of the applicant and the application is hereby allowed. The applicant shall make necessary amendment in the cause title in MACApp.7671/2019 as well as in the connected I.A(Civil) 2199/2019 within a period of one week from today and thereafter, the applicant shall Page No.# 4/4 take steps for notice in I.A(Civil) 2199/2019 on the newly impleaded respondents by usual process within one week thereafter.
