One of the addresses expressed by the petitioner is Dhaka. The petitioner was arrested on 28.02.2025, charge-sheet has already been submitted and date has been fixed on 27th April, 2026 for consideration of charges by the learned trial court. Having considered that the petitioner is in custody for more than 13 months and sometime will be consumed for the taking the trial to its logical conclusion, I am of the opinion that since the punishment prescribed is for a fixed term, the petitioner may be enlarged on bail. Hence, the prayer for bail of the petitioner is Allowed. 2 Accordingly, the petitioner viz, Md. Monir Hossain shall be released on bail upon furnishing bond of Rs.20,000/-(Rupees Twenty Thousand only), with two sureties of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand only) each, one of whom must be local, to the satisfaction of the Learned ACJM, Basirhat. If on bail, the petitioner shall also make himself physically available on each and every date so fixed by the learned Trial court and shall not leave the Sub-Division of Basirhat without prior intimation to the learned Trial Court. Additionally, the petitioner will furnish her address where she would be residing. The Officer-in-charge of the Swarupnagar Police Station will be at liberty to inspect and make surprise visits through any police personnel for cross- checking the availability of the present petitioner.
