Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has been implicated in connection with the instant case for alleged recovery of 9871 grams (Gross) and corresponding to net weight 8202 grams Marijuana. The petitioner was intercepted by the AI Customs Authorities after he was entering India through a foreign flight. Learned Advocate appearing for the Union of India submits that investigation of the case is still in progress. I have considered the complaint along with the materials of further investigation. 2 On consideration of the materials which have been collected in course of further investigation and having regard to the same particularly, the gravity of the offence in respect of the import of contraband within the country, I am not inclined to release the petitioner on bail. The application for bail, being CRM (NDPS) 1270 of 2025, is, thus, dismissed. All concerned parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.
