Petitioner has filed this petition seeking following reliefs:- “i. That, this Hon’ble Court may kindly be pleased to issue a writ in the nature of mandamus directing the respondent authorities to permit and relieve the petitioner for pursuing the Veterinary Polytechnic Diploma Course in the respondents University as a departmental candidate. ii. That, this Hon’ble Court may kindly be pleased to issue writ in the nature of mandamus directing the respondent University to grant admission in the Veterinary Polytechnic Diploma Course in the interest of justice. iii. That, this Hon’ble Court may kindly be pleased to call for the entire record pertaining to passing of impugned orders for the kind perusal of the Hon’ble Court. iv. Any other relief, which this Hon’ble Court deems fit and proper, may also kindly be granted to the petitioner, in the interest of justice.” 2. Learned counsel for petitioner submits that petitioner is holding post of Attendant and presently posted at Veterinary Dispensary Sarkhombo, Bagicha District Jashpur. According to the policy of respondent employer, the employees with the permission of employer can pursue further course for their advancement / promotion in service. Petitioner submitted an application on 5.5.2025 for pursuing Diploma course, which is of 02 years, however, till date no decision has been taken on it. In the meanwhile, petitioner appeared in the exam with permission of the competent authority and succeeded but for 3 want of approval/sanction from the State Government, he could not be able to get himself admitted in respondent No.5- University. He next contended that similarly placed employees/ Attendants have earlier filed writ petitions, which were allowed vide order dated 12.12.2025 (Annexure P-8). 3. Learned State Counsel submits that if claim of petitioner is with regard to decision on his representation, he is having no objection to such limited prayer. He submits that if representation of petitioner is still pending consideration, it will be decided at the earliest in accordance with law. 4. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of respondent No.5 and 6 would submit that at present grievance of petitioner is against respondent No.1 to 4. 5. Heard learned counsel for parties and perused documents available in record of writ petition. 6. On due consideration of submission of learned counsel for respective parties, this writ petition is disposed of at this stage with a direction to respondent No.4 to take decision on pending representation of petitioner dated 5.5.2025 in accordance with law expeditiously, preferably within a period of three weeks from the date of receipt of the order. 7.
