III --- 5/19.02.2026 Heard Ms. Sonal Pandey, learned counsel for the petitioner and learned A.P.P. for the State. The petitioner is an accused in connection with CID P.S. Case No. 44 of 2024. It has been alleged that the accused persons were involved in embezzlement of Rs. 40,50,00,500/- which were deposited in Central Bank of India by the Jharkhand Urja Utpadan Nigam Ltd. Submission has been advanced by the learned counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner is neither an employee of JUUNL nor the employee of the bank, rather he merely runs a business. It has also been submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that in similar circumstances, one Roshan Kumar Chaturvedy has been granted bail by this court in B. A. No. 7589 of 2025. Learned counsel further adds that the petitioner is in custody since 25.09.2025. Learned A.C. to G.A. III has opposed the prayer for bail and has submitted that the petitioner acted as an middleman in the entire fraudulent transaction. Regard being had to the fact that one co-accused person has been granted bail as noted above, the petitioner above named is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of learned A.J.C.
