The petitioner has filed this petition seeking the following reliefs: “10.1 That the Hon'ble Court may kindly be pleased to call for the entire records pertaining to the case of petitioner and after its perusal allow the petition. 10.2 That the Hon'ble Court may kindly be pleased to quash the impugned letter dated 08/06/2018 (Annexure, P/12) issued by the respondent No.7 Principal, Gujrat Forest Rangers College, Rajpipla (Gujrat). 10.3 That the Hon'ble Court may kindly further be pleased to quash the impugned revised physical measurement report dated 04/08/2018 (Annexure P/15) issued by the respondent No. 8 Chairman, Divisional Medical Board, Raipur (C.G) 10.4 That the Hon'ble Court may kindly further be pleased to quash the impugned letter dated 13/08/2018 issued by the respondent No.3 Principal Chief Conservator of Forest, Raipur to the respondent No.2 Secretary, Department of 3 Forest, Raipur for cancellation of appointment of petitioner (Annexure P/16) 10.5 That the Hon'ble Court further be pleased to quash the impugned order dated 29/08/2018 issued by the respondent No.3 Principal Chief Conservator of Forest, Raipur to the respondent No.2 Secretary, Department of Forest for cancellation of appointment of petitioner (Annexure P/17) 10.6 That, the Hon'ble Court further be pleased to direct the respondent authorities to release monthly salary of the petitioner which is pending from August, 2018 to till date. 10.7 That the Hon'ble Court may kindly further be pleased to grant compensation to the petitioner for mental agony and harassment. 10.8 That such other relief(s) or direction which the Hon'ble Court deems fit in the facts and circumstances of the case be also granted to the petitioner with cost of litigation.” 2. It appears that the petitioner was selected pursuant to advertisement dated 6.4.2016 for the post of Forest Ranger under the Scheduled Caste category; however, vide letter dated 8.6.2018 (Annexure – P/12), his height was found to be below than required. Consequently, the matter was referred to the Principal Chief Conservator of Forest, Government of Chhattisgarh to take appropriate decision. Various letters were sent by the State in this regard but till date no decision has been taken. In this petition, there is no interim order in favour of the petitioner. 3. Taking into consideration the above-stated facts, the petition is dismissed at this juncture. However, the petitioner would be at liberty to file a fresh petition if new cause of action arises.
