None appears on behalf of the State. The petitioner is an accused in connection with Muffasil P.S. Case No. 137 of 2021 corresponding to NDPS Case No. 62 of 2024. The prayer for bail of the petitioner has been rejected in B. A. No. 1979 of 2025. Renewing the prayer for bail, learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that he is in custody since 05.10.2024. It has further been submitted that only 3 witnesses have been examined out of 8 charge- sheeted witnesses. The petitioner appears to be the owner cum driver of the pick-up van on search of which 154.700 Kg. of cannabis has been recovered. Regard being had to the fact that the commercial quantity of cannabis has been recovered and the trial is progressing, I am not inclined to admit the petitioner on bail and accordingly, his prayer for bail is rejected.
