According to the petitioner, she was appointed as Asha Karyakarti under National Rural Health Mission in District Uttarkashi in 2007 and she was thereafter promoted as Asha Facilitator in the year 2010. 3. It is further her case that in 2022, the post of block coordinator in block Chinyalisaur fell vacant and she is holding the charge of said post ever since then. Her grievance is that the charge as block coordinator, Chinyalisaur has been handed over to some other person from block Mori, who would be serving at Chinyalisaur for 15 days and for remaining days of the month he would be looking after the affairs of block Mori. This, according to the petitioner is unjust as she is qualified for appointment as block coordinator, Chinyalisaur. 4. Learned counsel for the petitioner 2026:UHC:42 submits that petitioner has also submitted application for regular appointment as block coordinator in 2023; however, selection process has not concluded so far. 5. Learned State Counsel submits that since petitioner has sought a writ of mandamus and she has also made a representation to the Competent Authority, therefore he has no objection if the writ petition is disposed of with direction to the competent authority to take decision on the representation. 6. The writ petition is, accordingly, disposed of with direction to respondent No. 2 to take decision on representation submitted by petitioner on 15.12.2025 (Annexure-6 to the writ petition), as per law, within six weeks from date of presentation of certified copy of this order.
