The petitioner alleges that the petitioner is being restrained by the local police authorities from undertaking pisciculture activities in the said leasehold property. The petitioner submitted representation before various authorities including the District Fishery Officer, Paschim Medinipur by a letter dated November 14, 2025. In the light of the submission made by the learned advocates for the respective parties and without entering into the merits of the claim made in the representation dated November 14, 2025, this writ petition stands disposed of by directing the District Fishery Officer, Paschim Medinipur, being the respondent no. 3 herein, to consider the representation of the petitioner dated November 14, 2025 and to dispose of the same by passing a reasoned order after affording an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner and any other person who may be affected by such decision and to communicate the reasoned order to the petitioner and other affected parties immediately thereafter. The entire exercise shall be completed as expeditiously as possible but positively within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a server copy of this order. At the time of hearing, it will be open to the respective parties to rely upon the orders passed by this Court as well as any other Court of law on the issue in question and the 3rd respondent shall pass the reasoned order after considering such orders.
