2. The petitioner is an accused in a case registered for the offence punishable under Sections 305/331(4), however, cognizance has been taken under Sections 305/331(4)/3(5) of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita,
2023.
3. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has been falsely implicated in this case and has not committed any offence as alleged. The FIR was initially alleged against unknown thieves. The petitioner has been implicated in this case on the basis of the alleged confessional statement of the other co-accused persons as well as his confession recorded in connection with Pakur Town P.S. Case No. 176/2025. Similarly situated co-accused Amit Narasundar has already been granted regular bail by a coordinate Bench of this Court vide order dated 09.07.2025 passed in B.A. No. 5575/2025. The petitioner is in judicial custody since 18.08.2025. Hence, he may be given the privilege of regular bail.
4. Learned A.P.P opposes the petitioner’s prayer for bail.
5. Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances of the case, I am inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail. Accordingly, the above named petitioner is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail-bond of Rs.20,000/- (twenty thousand only) with two sureties of the like amount each to
