JUSTICE LALITHA KANNEGANTI ORAL ORDER The present writ petition is filed seeking the following prayer: “ i) Issue a writ in the nature of mandamus directing the respondent Nos.1 to 5 to consider the representations vide Annexures-G, G1, G2, G3, G4 dated 8.10.2025 regarding the compensation for unauthorised construction of school building in Gotigi village Kushtagi Taluk Koppal District in bearing Sy.No.4 measuring 5 acre 36 guntas in the interest of justice and equity. ii) Any other writ or direction or order, which this Hon’ble Court deems fit and proper under the facts and circumstances of the case in the interest of justice and equity.” 2. It is the case of the petitioner that she is the owner of an agricultural land bearing Survey No.4, measuring 5 acres 36 guntas, which is situated at Gotigi Village, Kushtagi Taluk, Koppal District. The husband of the petitioner had given the representation to the ADLR, Kushtagi, for conduct of survey and also marked the boundaries of the land. After the death of the petitioner's husband, the land was mutated in the name of the petitioner. It is stated that as per the request of the petitioner, respondent No.6/ADLR had conducted the survey and fixed the - 3 - HC-KAR NC: 2026:KHC-D:702 WP No. 100213 of 2026 boundaries of the land and filed the report. In the said report, it is mentioned that the property was encroached by the government and they have built the high school. Based on the report issued by the respondent No.6, the petitioner had given representation to respondent No.3. Then respondent No.3 had, in turn, directed respondent No.5 to conduct an enquiry and submit a report. It is the case of the petitioner that no further action has been initiated by the respondents on the representation. Hence, she has come before this Court. 3. Learned HCGP appearing for the respondents/State submits that they will consider the representation of the petitioner in accordance with law. 4. Considering the submission of the learned HCGP, this Court is passing the following: ORDER i) The respondents shall consider the representation of the petitioner dated 08.10.2025 in accordance with law within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order. - 4 - HC-KAR NC: 2026:KHC-D:702 WP No. 100213 of 2026 ii) Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed off. iii) All I.As. in this writ petition shall stand closed.
