The case of the prosecution is that the petitioners, owing to previous enmity, went to the place of occurrence, abused the de facto complainant in filthy language, assaulted him, and caused grievous injuries. Based on the complaint, the respondent police registered the present case. 3. The learned counsel for the petitioners submitted that the petitioners are innocent and have been falsely implicated in the present case. They are willing to cooperate with the investigation and undertake to abide by any condition that may be imposed by this Court. Hence, they prayed for the grant of anticipatory bail. 4.The learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) opposed the petition and submitted that the injured has sustained grievous injuries and is still undergoing treatment in the hospital. Considering the gravity of the offence and the stage of investigation, the custodial interrogation of the petitioners is very much necessary. It is seen that the injured has sustained grievous injuries and is still undergoing treatment in the hospital.
