Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner has made an online application dated 22.04.2026 to measure and Survey and boundaries of the petitioner’s property in survey No.19/1A2 to an extent of 7 cents in Patta No.376 situated at Thennakudipalayam Village, Athur Taluk, Salem District. However, the same was not considered, as on date. Hence, this writ petition. 3. Mr.B.Pachaiyappan, learned Government’s Counsel accepts notice on behalf of the respondents and submitted that the petitioner’s online application dated 22.04.2026 will be considered within a period of six weeks. 4. Heard the learned counsel on either side and perused the materials available on record. 5. Considering the limited relief sought by the learned counsel for the petitioner, this Court without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, directs the respondents to consider the petitioner's online application dated 22.04.2026 and carry out a survey and complete the process, after giving prior notice to the petitioner and other aggrieved parties, if any, within a period of six (6) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis WP No. 26961 of 2026 __________ Page3 of 4 6. It is made clear that this order is passed only for the purpose of issuing a direction to the official respondent to conduct a survey and lay boundary stones at the subject land. In the event any dispute arises regarding the possession of the subject property, the same has to be decided by way of filing a suit before the competent Civil Court. 7.
