2. Upon perusing the said application filed by the petitioner, the clear-cut allegation of the petitioner is against one Nisanthini, who was the co-worker of the petitioner. She gained the trust of the petitioner by falsely representing that if the petitioner paid money, she would secure a Visa checker job at the Kempegowda Airport, Bengaluru. 3. By making his false representation, she induced the petitioner to part with a sum of Rs.20,00,000/- and the same is given through UPI IDs and banking transactions. Even thereafter, Nisanthini and Raj Kumar neither obtained the job offer for the petitioner nor returned the money. Subsequently, when the address given by Nisanthini was verified, it turned out to be fake. 4. Therefore, all the averments categorically make out an offence under Section 420 of IPC besides other offences. There is no question to drag on the petitioner from pillar to post. 5. In view thereof, the 2nd respondent police is directed to register a case based on the complaint dated 25.11.2024 within a period of three (3) weeks from the date of receipt of a web copy of this order and to proceed further with the investigation in the manner known to law. https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis
