learned counsel representing the respondent no. 3. The instant application has been filed under Section 5 of the Limitation Act praying for condonation of delay of 17 (seventeen) days in filing the connected MAC appeal against the impugned
Judgment and Award dated 20.09.2025 passed by the learned Member, MACT, Barpeta, in MAC Case No. 351/2022.
Page No.# 3/3 The learned counsel for the applicant submits that causes for the delay has set out at paragraphs 8 and 9 of the application. This court has gone through the pleadings and the causes shown for the delay. After considering the pleadings, this Court is of the view that the applicant has been able to show sufficient causes for the delay of 17 (seventeen) days in filing the connected MAC appeal. Accordingly, the application is allowed. The delay of 17 (seventeen) days in filing the connected MAC appeal is condoned. Registry shall register the connected MAC Appeal and list the same after two weeks. Name of Mr. T. Kalita shall be shown in the Cause List as the counsel representing the respondent no. 3.
