Assistant Director of Land Records, Devanahalli, Taluk to conduct a survey and fix the boundaries of Karahalli Village, while the lands of the petitioner in Survey No.11, 12 and 13 are situated in a Yarappanally Village, which is abutting Karahalli Village, the respondents have not taken any action. Therefore, the prayer in the writ petition is to direct the respondents to conduct the survey.
3. Learned Additional Government Advocate points out to Annexure-G series and submits that at the instance of the petitioners, survey has already been conducted and at Annexure-G, is the sketch showing encroachment on the southern side of the property belonging to the petitioner at the hands of third parties. The learned Additional Government Advocate therefore submits that since survey has already been conducted and settled, the question of conducting the survey again and again would not arise.
4. Having regard to the documents furnished by the petitioners along with the writ petition, it is clear that

survey has already been conducted in the year 2023. Further, if some encroachment is found on the lands belonging to the petitioners at the hands of third parties, then the petitioners will have to take action in accordance with law to remove the encroachment. No useful purpose would be served in directing the survey to be conducted once again.
5. With these observations the writ petition stands
disposed of.
6. Pending I.As., if any, stand disposed of.
