This Writ Petition has been filed for issuance of Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, challenging the clasue 2, 3 (1) and clause 16 of the Annexure I of the impugned notification No 01/2026 dated 13/02/2026 of the 4th respondent herein and the consequential impugned order in O.Mu.No.1561/A3/2026 (1) dated 21.03.2026 of the 2nd respondent herein and consequently direct the 2nd respondent herein to counter sign and issue Annexure I service certificate 2026 to the petitioner herein and direct the 4th respondent herein by permitting the petitioner to write the TNTET Paper II examination on 05.07.2026 or any other subsequent dates pursuant to the notification dated 13.02.2026 of the 4th respondent herein. 3. This Court, vide order dated 06.04.2026, directed the 4th respondent to receive the application of the petitioner without insisting on the countersignature of the 2nd respondent or the submission of Annexure I, and to permit the petitioner to appear for the Teachers Eligibility Test scheduled to be conducted pursuant to Notification No. 01/2026, dated 13.02.2026. 3/6 https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis W.P.(MD)No.9396 of 2026 4. Today, when the matter is taken up for consideration, Mr.T.Amjad Khan, learned counsel appearing for the 4th respondent, submits that the petitioner was permitted to participate in the Special Test Examination held on 05.07.2026 and that his candidature will be considered along with those of all other eligible candidates. Hence, he further submits that the relief sought in the present Writ Petition has become infructuous. 5. In the light of the above, taking into consideration the fact that the petitioner was already permitted to appear for the Teachers Eligibility Test held on 05.07.2026, the Writ Petition is closed as having become infructuous. There shall be no order as to costs.
