Today, a fresh report has been filed by the Chairman, Uttarpara Kotrung Municipality dated 5th February, 2026 issued by the SAE, Uttarpara Kotrung Municipality. From the aforesaid report, it would transpire that as per the enquiry report, it was detected that no further construction was done after passing of the stay order on 6th June, 2025. 2. Having regard thereto and noting that the matter is now pending for consideration before the learned Civil Judge, Junior Division, 1st Court, Serampore, I am of the view there is no scope to 2 WPA 11546 of 2025 pass any further order in the present writ petition. 3. This order shall not interfere with the rights of the petitioners to apply before the learned Civil Judge, Junior Division, 1st Court, Serampore in misc. appeal No. 10 of 2025 and seek vacating/ variation/clarification of the order of stay already passed. 4.
