PATIL) This Writ Petition (Habeas Corpus) is filed by the mother seeking the following reliefs:- 1) Issue writ of Habeas Corpus directing the respondents No.1 to 5 to produce the petitioner's daughter, namely. Ms.Krithika.R, aged about 21 years before this Hon'ble Court. 2) Direct the Respondents police to trace petitioner's daughter namely Ms.Krithika.R, location immediately and file a status report. 2. Heard Shri. Shivagondappa Subhashchandra, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Shri. Thejesh P, learned High Court Government Pleader appearing for respondents No.1 to 5. 3. The learned High Court Government Pleader submits that the petitioner's daughter, the alleged detenue has been secured by Smt. Manjula S.P, WPC No.16211, along with Shri. Raghavendra, HC No.8038, and - 4 - HC-KAR NC: 2026:KHC:4604-DB WPHC No. 137 of 2025 Shri.Somappa Godi, PSI, and has been produced before us in Chambers today. 4. We had a detailed interaction with the detenue in chambers. She stated that she is a major and is working as an Accountant in M/s. J.M.Textiles, Erode, and is residing there. She further stated that she intends to marry respondent No.6, whom she has known for many years. 5. We also had a detailed interaction with the petitioner and the father of the detenue. After interacting with the parties and the detenue, who was produced before this Court, we are of the opinion that no further orders are required to be passed in the matter, as the detenue is residing in Erode on her own volition and is working there. - 5 - HC-KAR NC: 2026:KHC:4604-DB WPHC No. 137 of 2025 6.
