2. The case of the prosecution is that due to previous enmity, there was a wordy quarrel between the petitioners and the defacto complainant, which escalated into violence. Hence, the case.
3. The learned counsel for the petitioners would submit that the petitioners are innocent and they have nothing to do with the alleged offence and a false case has been foisted against the petitioners. He would further submit that the petitioners are ready to co-operate for investigation. Hence, he prays for the grant of anticipatory bail.
4. The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) opposed the anticipatory bail application by reiterating the prosecution case and submitted that the injured is still taking treatment in the hospital. Hence, he opposed for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioners.
5. From the submission made by the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) appearing for the respondent, it is seen that the injured is still taking treatment in the hospital. In such view of the position, this Court is of the firm view that it is not appropriate to enlarge the petitioners on anticipatory bail. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition stands dismissed. 08.07.2026 smv https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis
