When the matter was taken up for hearing on 19.06.2026, this Court passed the following order: “Mr.R.Veeramani, learned Government Pleader accepts notice on behalf of the respondent/The Director of Local Fund Audit and submits that necessary funds have already been released to the Thiruthani Municipality in compliance with the orders passed by this Court on 21.10.2024. However, he further submits that the same is delayed by the Municipality. 2. Issue Statutory Notice to the respondents 3 and 4 in the Writ Petition in W.P.No.21650 of 2012.” 3. Today, when the matter is listed for hearing, the 3rd respondent/the Municipal Commissioner, Thiruthani Municipality is present before this Court.
