Since the convict was expressing some medical ailments, we had by our order dated 14.7.2026 directed as follows:- Prima facie, the prayer in this writ petition cannot be entertained as there is no provision for grant of emergency parole for 20 days without escort, particularly, since the leave sought is for the medical ailment of the convict himself. In fact, it is on this ground that the representation of the petitioner has been rejected. 2. Having said so, it is for the prison authorities to attend to the medical needs of the convicts promptly.
