The petitioners are apprehending their arrest in connection with Balidih P.S. Case No. 32 of 2022, registered for the offence under Sections 304-B and 34 of the Indian Penal Code, pending in the court of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Bokaro.

Learned counsel appearing for the petitioners submits that the petitioner no. 1 is the father-in-law, petitioner Nos. 2 and 3 are the uncle-in-laws, petitioner No. 4 is the mother-in-law and petitioner Nos. 5 and 6 are the aunt-in-laws of the deceased. He next submits that the

husband of the deceased has faced the trial and he has been acquitted by the learned trial court by judgment dated 28.02.2025, passed in S.T. No. 477 of 2022. He further submits that even the mother and brother- in-law of the deceased have not supported the prosecution case in the trial.

Learned A.P.P. appearing for the State has opposed the prayer and submits that the petitioners are the in-laws of the deceased.

Considering that the husband of the deceased has faced the trial and he has been acquitted by the learned trial court and even the mother and brother-in-law of the deceased have not supported the prosecution case in the trial, in that view of the matter, the petitioners, named above, are directed to surrender before the learned Court within two weeks from today and the learned Court shall release the petitioners on such terms and conditions or the sureties as the learned Court may deem fit and proper.
