GP FOR HIGHER EDUCATION The Court made the following Order: The present writ petition is filed challenging the action of the respondents Nos.1 to 5 in not including the name of the petitioner’s institution in the web counselling and in not allotting any seat for admission into Diploma Courses in APPOLYCET-2026, contrary to Extension of Approval granted by the respondent No.6, the Apex Body, vide proceedings in F.No. South- Central/1-46215680518/2026/EOA, dated 04-05-2026, and the proceedings of the 4th respondent dated 18-05-2026. 2. Heard Sri K. Rambabu, learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Assistant Government Pleader for Higher Education appearing for respondents. 3. However, respondent No.1 did not issue the No Objection Certificate (NOC), and its name has not been reflected on the web portal for the ongoing counselling. As a result, the petitioner is deprived of the opportunity to participate in the ongoing web counselling process for admission of the students. 5. The petitioner submits that, despite being otherwise eligible under the statutory provisions, it has been unable to admit students due to the non- issuance of the NOC. It is further submitted that the petitioner submitted an application seeking issuance of a No Objection Certificate before the respondent. No.1, and the said application is still pending for consideration. 5 6. Learned counsel for the petitioner, therefore, prays for appropriate directions the respondents to allow the petitioner to participate in the ongoing counseling process. 7. Having regard to the submissions made, as the petitioner’s application for grant of No objection is pending for consideration before the 1st respondent and the Counselling for admissions into diploma courses has already been commenced, this court deems it appropriate to dispose of the Writ Petition directing respondent No.1 to consider and pass appropriate orders on the petitioner's application seeking issuance of a No Objection Certificate, stated to have been filed on 18.05.2026, within a period of two (02) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. There shall be no order as to costs.
