It is seen that there is a civil dispute pending between the petitioner and the third respondent in respect of the property to an extent of 3 acres in re-survey No.636/5, 636/9, 636/11, 683/3, 604/1 and 604/2 which is situated in Vadugapatti Village. That apart, the complaint lodged by the petitioner was enquired and closed. Therefore, the petitioner ought to have approached the civil court for appropriate relief. As such, police protection cannot be ordered to be granted as prayed by the petitioner to enjoy the aforementioned property. 3. Therefore, this writ petition is dismissed.
