JUSTICE R DEVDAS ORAL ORDER It is the contention of the petitioners that the Committee for Regularization of Unauthorised Occupation considered the application filed by the petitioners’ father late Sri Munipoojaiah and passed a resolution on 27.09.1994, pursuant to which official memorandum dated - 3 - HC-KAR NC: 2026:KHC:6515 WP No. 36176 of 2025 12.11.2004 at Annexure-A was issued by the Tahsildar granting lands to 10 persons in Survey No.25 of Doddamankanala Village, Doddabelavangala Hobli, Doddaballapura Taluk, Bengaluru Rural District. At serial No.6 is the name of Sri Munipoojaiah, S/o Muddaiah, who is granted 38 guntas. Attached to the memorandum at Annexure-B is the sketch showing the possession of the grantees. However, neither Saguvali chit is issued nor the revenue entries are made in the name of the petitioners’ father. Therefore, the prayer in this writ petition is to direct the respondent – Tahsildar, Doddaballapur Taluk, to issue saguvali chit in favour of the petitioners, who are the legal heirs of late Sri Munipoojaiah. 2. The writ petition stands disposed of with a direction to the respondent No.3 – Tahasildar, Doddaballapur Taluk to consider the representation given by the petitioner at Annexures-A dated 12.11.2024, verify the records and find out whether Sri Munipoojaiah S/o Muddanna was indeed granted the land. If it is found that - 4 - HC-KAR NC: 2026:KHC:6515 WP No. 36176 of 2025 the Committee had in fact regularised the land in favour of Sri Munipoojaiah, the Tahasildar shall proceed to pass necessary orders issuing Saguvali chit and collect kimmath from the petitioners . Subsequently the Tahsildar shall enter the name of Sri. Munipoojaiah in the land records pursuant to the issuance of the Saguvali chit.
