2. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that not only was the defacto complainant mentioned in the FIR was grievously injured, but there were also two other victims. The FIR itself was registered by affixing a thumb impression when the petitioner was not even in a conscious state of mind while taking treatment in the hospital. He further submitted that the investigation is not proceeding in a fair and transparent manner.
3. Per Contra, the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) would submit that even if three victims are involved, their wound certificates will also be collected and appropriately, the charges will be altered. He further submitted that the investigation will be completed.
4. In view of the submissions made, this Criminal Original Petition is
disposed of on the following terms: (i) The 2nd respondent shall continue and complete the investigation in a fair and transparent manner. (ii)The same shall be supervised by the jurisdictional Deputy Superintendent of Police. (iii)Since it is submitted that the petitioner has further details to share, a further statement shall be recorded from the petitioner. The submission made that there are two other victims shall also be taken note of and the respective wound certificates etc., shall be collected as undertaken before this Court. https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis
