The petitioner is apprehending his arrest in connection with Chandil P.S. Case No. 185 of 2025, registered under sections 126 (2), 115(2), 117(2) and 118(2) of BNS, 2023 (corresponding to sections 339, 323, 325 and 326 of I.P.C.), pending in the Court of learned S.D.J.M, Chandil. 3. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner and informant are cousin brother and allegations are made of throwing hot pulse upon the neck of informant and on the chest of wife of the informant. He next submits that injury is superficial and petitioner has got no criminal antecedent which is disclosed in para 17 of the petition. On these grounds, he submits that the petitioner may kindly be provided privilege of anticipatory bail. 4. Learned counsel for the State opposes the prayer and submits that burn injury has been received by the informant and his wife. 5. Considering that petitioner and informant are cousin brother, petitioner has got no criminal antecedent which is disclosed in para 17 of the petition and injury has been found to be superficial and in that view of the matter, petitioner is directed to surrender before the learned court within ( 2026:JHHC:4918 ) two weeks from today and the learned court shall release the petitioners on terms and conditions and sureties as learned court deems fit and proper. 6.
