The petitioner joined the respondent corporation as a Conductor on 21.06.1997 as a daily wage labour. The petitioner’s service was regularised with effect from 01.01.1999 vide order dated 28.09.1999. The petitioner would submit that due to illness he was permitted to do light duty. Thereafter, the petitioner voluntarily retired from service on 31.08.2025. 3. The petitioner would submit that he has made representations to the respondents to take into account his entire service from 01.06.1997 to 31.08.2025 as continuous service for the purpose of pension and gratuity and revise his pension. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and the fact that the petitioner’s representation dated 24.06.2026 has not been considered to date, a direction is issued to respondents to consider the petitioner’s representation and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of 8 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 5. With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of.
