The petitioner’s husband was appointed as Clerk in the 3rd respondent society in the year 1997. The petitioner’s husband died in service on 15.04.2024. 3. The petitioner would submit that she had made an application for death cum retirement benefits. Thereafter, the 3rd respondent only disbursed Rs.16,08,200/- out of Rs.20,33,345/-. Further a sum of Rs.4,25,345/- was deducted from the benefits due to her. Aggrieved by the same, the petitioner made a representation to the respondents in this regard. Since there is no response the petitioner is before this Court. 4.Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and the fact that the petitioner’s representation dated 28.03.2026 has not been considered to date, a direction is issued to the 3rd respondent to consider the petitioner’s representation and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of 8 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis WP No. 25942 of 2026 __________ Page4 of 6 5.
