Mr. Dushyant Mainali, learned counsel for the petitioner. 2. Mr. P.C. Bisht, learned Additional C.S.C. for the State of Uttarakhand. 3. Petitioner is serving as Assistant Block Development Officer in District Udham Singh Nagar. He was transferred from Block Khatima to Block Jaspur, vide order dated 30.01.2026 passed by District Magistrate, Udham Singh Nagar. Thus, feeling aggrieved, petitioner has approached this Court. 4. After arguing for a while, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner has made representation against his transfer, therefore, the Competent Authority be asked to take decision thereupon. 5. Learned State Counsel, however, submits that representation made by petitioner is to the Chief Development Officer, while the transfer order has been passed by District Magistrate. He, therefore, submits that petitioner should make representation to District Magistrate, Udham Singh Nagar. 5. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits the petitioner be permitted to make fresh representation against the impugned transfer to District Magistrate, Udham Singh Nagar. 2026:UHC:1288 6. The writ petition is, accordingly, disposed of with liberty to petitioner to make representation to District Magistrate, Udham Singh Nagar within ten days from today. If he makes representation within stipulated time, District Magistrate shall take decision thereupon, as per law, within four weeks thereafter.
