WP No. 26284 of 2026 __________ Page2 of 4 Order This Writ Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the first and second respondents to issue a patta to the petitioner by considering his representation dated 19.01.2026. 2. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner, along with 60 other families, has been residing on the land comprised in S.F. Nos. 61/1A and 61/2, situated at No. 69, Rayamangalam Village, Thiruporur Taluk, Chengalpattu District. The petitioner has approached the respondents for the issuance of a patta by submitting several representations, the final one being dated 19.01.2026. Since the said representation has not been considered, the petitioner has approached this Court by way of the present Writ Petition. 3. In reply, Ms.Inthu Karunakaran, learned Government Counsel who takes notice on behalf of the respondents would submit that the petitioner’s representation dated 19.01.2026 will be disposed of by the respondents within a period of eight weeks. 4. In view of the above, this Court directs the respondents 1 and 2 to consider the petitioner’s representation dated 19.01.2026 on its own merits and dispose of the same in accordance with law within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order. 6. With the above directions, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
