The petitioner is an accused in connection with Ranga P.S. Case No. 37 of 2025. 3. It has been alleged that the petitioner had strangulated the daughter of the informant to death for not fulfilling the demand of Rs.50,000/- 4. Submission has been advanced by the learned Counsel for the petitioner that the father-in-law of the deceased has been granted bail in B.A.No. 8104/2025. 5. It has been submitted that though the allegation has been made that the deceased died on account of strangulation but the findings of postmortem report reveal otherwise as the cause of death has been ascertained to be asphyxia due to hanging. 6. It has also been submitted that no marks of violence were found on the person of the deceased. 7. Learned Counsel submits that the petitioner is in custody since 07.04.2025. ( 2026:JHHC:7347 ) 8. Learned A.P.P. has opposed the prayer for bail of the petitioner and has submitted that the petitioner is the husband of the deceased. 9. Regard being had to the fact that the allegations made in the First Information Report has been contradicted by the findings made in the postmortem report and there being no marks of violence found on the person of the deceased, the petitioner is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Addl. Sessions Judge-I, Rajmahal in connection with S.T. Case No. 295 of 2025, arising out of Ranga P.S. Case No. 37 of 2025. (Rongon Mukhopadhyay, J) P.K.S. Uploaded
