WP No. 26375 of 2026 __________ Page2 of 4 For Petitioner(s): Mr.S.Ramajayam For Respondent(s): Mr.B.Pachaiyappan, Government Counsel for R1 to R3 Order This Writ Petition has been filed to direct the respondents 1 to 3 to consider the petitioner representation letter dated 11.5.2026 in accordance with law and further direct the respondents 1 and 2 to conduct enquiry and cancel the patta from the name of 4th respondent and issue patta in favour of the petitioner. 2. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner’s late father owned several parcels of land in S.F. Nos. 319/4 and 318/1A, with the patta standing in his name. Following the demise of the petitioner’s parents, the petitioner’s brother allegedly created fraudulent documents and managed to transfer the patta in favour of the fourth respondent. Consequently, the petitioner submitted a detailed representation dated 11.05.2026 to respondents 1 to 3 requesting cancellation of the mutation. Since no action has been taken on the said representation, the petitioner has approached this Court with the present writ petition. 3.
In reply, Mr.B.Pachaiyappan, learned Government Counsel who takes notice on behalf of the respondents 1 to 3 would submit that the petitioner’s representation dated 11.05.2026 will be disposed of by the respondents within a period of six weeks. https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis

4. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Counsel for the respondents and also perused the materials available on record. Since no adverse orders are passed against the 4th respondent, notice to the 4th respondent is not necessary. 5. In view of the above, this Court directs the 2nd respondent to consider the petitioner’s representation dated 11.05.2026 on its own merits and dispose of the same in accordance with law within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order, after issuing notice to the petitioner and other parties concerned and shall afford them with an opportunity of personal hearing. 6.
