ORAL ORDER
The petitioner, at whose instance the FIR is registered in Crime No.188/2025 by the Avalahally Police, has sought for directions to the Investigating Officer to conduct further investigation and to file supplementary charge sheet within two months. Sri.Shreeram Nayak T., the learned counsel for the petitioner, argues in support of this request contending that the petitioner has produced material with the Investigating Officer to establish the identity of the persons who have assaulted but the officer has filed charge sheet overlooking these material.
However, Sri B Ravindranath, the learned Additional Government Advocate, submits that as charge sheet is already filed, the petitioner must avail remedy as available in law, if she/he has any grievance in the pending criminal proceedings and that this Court's intervention under Article 226 of the Constitution of India will not be justified. finds considerable force in the submission, and therefore, the petition stands disposed of but without prejudice to the petitioner to avail remedy as would be permissible in law in the pending proceedings.
