JUSTICE M.NAGAPRASANNA ORAL ORDER The petitioner is before this Court calling in question proceedings in C.C.No.24296/2024, pending before the 24th ACMM Court, Bengaluru, for the offences under Sections 323, 354, 354A, 354D, 504, 506, 509 of Indian Penal Code. 2. Heard Sri.Vinod N, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, Sri.Vinay Mahadevaiah, learned HCGP appearing for respondent No.1, Sri.Ramu V, learned counsel appearing for respondent No.2 and have perused the material on record. - 3 - HC-KAR NC: 2026:KHC:11950 CRL.P No. 1140 of 2026 3. During the pendency of the proceedings, the parties to the lis have settled the dispute among themselves and have filed compounding applications along with the affidavits. The affidavit filed by petitioner reads as follows: “1. I State that, I am the petitioner in the above petition and I know the facts and circumstances of the case hence I am swearing to this affidavit. 2. I state that, due to enmity/differences and personal fight between the 2nd respondent family and with my family, 2nd respondent was forced to lodge a written complaint on before Magadi Road against the me and same was registered as Crime No.100/2024. Meanwhile due to intervention of the well-wishers in the family and friends 2nd respondent decided to not to proceed further and wanted to withdraw the complaint. 3. I state that, due to the intervention of the elders, well-wishers of both the family & Friends we decided to resolve the dispute between us amicably and in this regard we have entered into a compromise wherein we have settled all our disputes. 6. I state that, in view of the above said compromise I and 2nd Respondent jointly request that this Hon'ble Court may be please to compound by quashing the proceedings in C.C.No.24296/2024 i.e., Crime No.100/2024 Registered By The Magadi Road P.S., For The Offence punishable under section 323, 354, 354-A, 354d, 504, 506, 509 Of IPC Pending Before The 24th ACMM Court, Nrupathunga Road, Bangalore That Is Annexure C And D and intern acquit me by allowing this petition. 4. I state that, I pray that this Hon'ble Court be please to permit us to compound the above said offences and - 4 - HC-KAR NC: 2026:KHC:11950 CRL.P No. 1140 of 2026 record the compound by acquitting the us by allowing this petition. What is stated above is true and correct to the best of our knowledge and we have affixed my signature.” The affidavit filed by respondent No.2 reads as follows: "1. We state that, I am the 2nd respondent in the above petition and I am well aware of the facts and circumstance of the case hence I am swearing to this affidavit. 2. I state that, due to enmity/difference and personal fight between my family and petitioner and families, I was lodge a written complaint before the Magadi Road P.S against the petitioner and same was registered as Crime No.100/2024. Meanwhile due to intervention of the well- wishers in the family and friends I have decided not to proceed further and wanted to withdraw the complaint. 3. In the light of applications for compounding being filed along with the affidavits and offences not being against the State, I deem it appropriate to accept the compounding applications and terminate the proceedings against the petitioner in the subject petition. 5.
