There is no recovery at the instance of this petitioner or from the petitioner. Petitioner has been granted bail in Crime No. 88/2024. As charge sheet is filed, petitioner is not required for custodial interrogation. With this, he prayed to allow the petition. 4. Per contra learned HCGP would contend that the offence alleged against the petitioner is heinous offence punishable with imprisonment for 10 years. Petitioner was present in the car at the time of kidnap of C.W.1. Petitioner and other accused kidnapped C.W.1 and extorted money from him. Petitioner is having criminal antecedents and was involved in Crime No. 88/2024. Further, in Crime No. 88/2024, he remained absent and NBW was issued against him. If the petitioner is granted bail, there are chances of he committing similar offence and threatening the prosecution witnesses. With this he prayed to reject the petition. - 4 -
