CM APPL. 29684/2026 (for exemption)
1. Exemption allowed, subject to all just exceptions.
2. The application stands disposed of.
W.P.(C) 6020/2026
1. The nature of relief sought in the instant petition is not directly amenable under writ jurisdiction. The petitioner has to take remedy under the provisions of the Maintenance and Welfare of Parents and Senior Citizens Act, 2007 (‘Act of 2007’). There does not seem to be any proper application, as required, before the concerned authority.
2. For the said reason, the instant petition stands dismissed. This is a digitally signed order. The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above. The Order is downloaded from the DHC Server on 06/05/2026 at 12:58:33
3. Liberty is, however, granted to the petitioner to undertake the appropriate exercise in accordance with the mandate of the Act of 2007.
