CMP Nos. 509 of 2026 & 32983 of 2025 The present applications under Section 151 of the Code of Civil Procedure, have been maintained by applicants/appellants No.1 & 2, i.e. Meera Devi @ Mira Devi and Hari Krishan, for release of compensation amount alongwith up-to- date interest in their favour, as per their shares, as lying deposited in the Registry of this Court. The applications are duly supported with the affidavits of the applicants. Learned counsel for the non- applicant/respondent, stated that he doesn’t intend to file any reply on behalf of aforesaid respondent and since the main appeal stands finally decided on 07.11.2025 by this Court and as no appeal has been preferred against the said judgment by either of the parties, the same has attained finality, he has no objection in case the prayer made in the application is allowed. Heard. Having perused the averments made in the applications, which are duly supported with the affidavits of the applicants coupled with the fact that the judgment passed by this Court has attained finality, this Court finds it in the interest of justice to release the award amount alongwith up-to-date interest as lying deposited in the Registry of this Court in favour of applicants/appellants No.1 & 2, i.e. Meera Devi @ Mira Devi and Hari Krishan, strictly as per their shares, after proper verification and identification, by remitting the same to their saving bank accounts, details whereof have been mentioned in para-3 of both the applications.
