04/ 20.01.2026: Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned counsel for the State. 2. The petitioner is apprehending his arrest in connection with Godda (T) P.S. Case No. 278 of 2023, registered for the offences under Sections 147, 148, 149, 341, 323, 324, 325, 337, 338, 353, 307, 504 and 506 of the Indian Penal Code, pending in the court of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Godda. 3. Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that at the place of occurrence 70-80 persons were present. She submits that the FIR has been lodged against 23 named and 80 unknown persons. He further submits that the scuffle took place between assembled persons and the police and there are general and omnibus allegations against all. He also submits that the other named co-accused persons have already been provided the privilege of anticipatory bail in A.B.A. No. 4210 of 2025 and in other A.B.As., which are contained in Annexures-2 series. He further submits that the petitioner is having no criminal antecedent and disclosure to that effect has been made in para-9 of the petition. 4. Learned A.P.P. appearing for the State has opposed the prayer and submits that the allegation is there of scuffling with the police. ( 2026:JHHC:1397 )

Considering that the other named co-accused persons have already been provided the privilege of anticipatory bail in A.B.A. No. 4210 of 2025 and in other A.B.As., which are contained in Annexures 2 series and there are general and omnibus allegations against all the accused persons and the petitioner is having no criminal antecedent and disclosure to that effect has been made in para-9 of the petition, I am inclined to provide the privilege of anticipatory bail to the petitioner. 6.
Accordingly, the petitioner, named above, is hereby directed to surrender before the learned court within three weeks from today, and in the event of his surrender/arrest, the petitioner, above named, shall be released on bail, on furnishing bail bond of Rs.25,000/- (Rupees Twenty Five Thousand), with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Godda, in connection with Godda (T) P.S. Case No. 278 of 2023, subject to the conditions as laid down under section 482(2) of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023. Dt.20.01.2026
