Aggrieved by the same, the petitioners have preferred this writ petition and have prayed for quashing of Annexure-A. 3. In the course of the proceedings, the petitioners and respondent No.4 have entered into a compromise and have filed a compromise petition dated 28.04.2026 and submitting that the suitable orders be passed accordingly. The said compromise petition is taken on record. 4. The learned counsel appearing for respondent Nos.2 and 3, upon instructions, submits that the authorities concerned will consider the compromise petition and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law. 5. The compromise entered into between the petitioners and respondent No.4 is only in respect of rights in personam of the parties concerned regarding the property and it does not recognize a right in rem. Only the petitioners and respondent No.4 and the persons claiming - 5 - HC-KAR NC: 2026:KHC:23954 WP No. 13075 of 2023 under them can be bound by the compromise and it cannot be implemented as against the Government Authorities or any other person. Hence, the following: ORDER The Writ Petition is hereby disposed of, with a direction to respondent Nos.2 and 3 to take into consideration the compromise petition, including the sketch filed by the petitioners and respondent No.4, a copy of which will be produced by them to respondent Nos.2 and 3 and thereafter pass appropriate orders regarding issuance of Khata in respect of the person concerned.
