ORDER The present Writ Petition has been filed for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 17.06.2026 seeking a survey and demarcation of the boundaries of the petitioner's land comprised in Survey No. 82/3B, measuring an extent of 16 cents, situated at Amaravathi Village, Karaikudi Taluk, Sivagangai District. 2/5 https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis

2. The petitioner's land is comprised in S.No.82/3B to an extent of 16 cents. The petitioner is having a larger extent of land in S.No.82/3B. According to the petitioner, he originally owned a larger extent of land in the said survey number, out of which a portion was acquired by the respondents. Now, the petitioner is seeking to survey and survey the remaining extent. According to the respondents, there is no excess land available.

In view of the above, the fourth respondent is directed to consider the petitioner's representation 17.06.2026, after issuing notice to the petitioner and the rival claimants, if any, afford them an opportunity of personal hearing and thereafter, pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
4. With the above directions, this Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
