Since common questions of fact and law are involved in these petitions, therefore, they are clubbed together and decided by this common judgment. However, for the sake of brevity and convenience, facts of Writ Petition No. 638 of 2026 (SS) alone are being considered and discussed. 3. According to the petitioner, his name figured in the list which was issued by Uttarakhand Subordinate Service Selection Commission in which names of candidates, who were called for document verification, were mentioned. However, in the Provisional Recommendation List, petitioner’s name did not figure, even though petitioner had appeared before the Selecting Body for document verification. 4. Learned counsel appearing for the 2026:UHC:1418 Selecting Body, however, submits that process of selection is over, as the process was initiated vide advertisement dated 05.10.2021. 5. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that there are 17 vacancies still available on the post of Workshop Instructor (Mechanic), therefore, petitioner be permitted to make representation. 6. Mr. Shailendra Nauriyal, learned counsel appearing for Selecting Body submits that he has no objection if writ petition is disposed of in terms of prayer made by petitioner’s counsel. 7. The writ petition is, accordingly, disposed of with a direction to Secretary, Uttarakhand Subordinate Service Selection Commission to take decision on petitioner’s representation enclosed as Annexure-9 to the writ petition, as per law, within four weeks from date of presentation of certified copy of this order.
