The contention of the petitioner is that an appeal is already pending in respect of the subject property, in which the sixth respondent is a party. However, the seventh respondent is not a party to the said proceedings. The petitioner apprehends that the seventh respondent may alienate the property. However, in order to protect the interests of the parties, a limited injunction is granted. Until the disposal of the appeal pending before the second respondent, the petitioner and respondents 6 and 7 shall not alienate or encumber the subject property or create a multiplicity of proceedings. The second respondent shall dispose of the appeal within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 4. With the above directions, this Writ Petition is disposed of.
